This was always one of my favourites while going to SUU and it's somewhere I'm sure to stop when I'm in town visiting. The food is always tasty and the atmosphere is great. It feels real homey. Drinks come in glass jars, sandwiches served in a basket with a nice little newspaper style lining. I just love it. I usually get the Thunderbird for nostalgia, but it's probably my favourite sandwich in Utah. Fries are great. Servers are always nice. Be aure to give it a try! Everyone I've brought has liked it.
Great place to eat. Loved the chili. The salad bar was great except they only had one protein, a very salty bacon that no one in my party really liked. Prices were reasonable and kids are for $1.60 after 5.
The wait is a little longer than anticipated, but worth the wait in my opinion!
The food is good but the service takes forever. Every time i’ve been in it takes a good twenty minutes for drinks to come and another half hour for food. There are usually two or three servers standing by the counter chatting with each other. If you have an hour and a half for a sandwich, then go for it - the food is delicious.
A great place for the sandwich loving folks! I have tried a few of their sandwiches and loved them all! Their fries are delicious + who doesn't love a little piece of fudge at the end of their meal?!
Was seated by a nice server, but had to wait longer than most places to order. Noticed the servers back behind the bar talking instead of checking up on guests. My water glass was empty half the time. The food tasted good for the most part, the bacon was over cooked, and the potato salad consistently tasted like celery instead of actual potato. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. They do make good fudge though.
