We stayed at a Quality Inn in Blythe, CA. The hotel was very nice and clean. The room was clean and felt comfortable. Breakfast was served in the morning and we enjoyed it. It was a good experience. I would stay there again.
Noisy if you are in the first floor of the hotel due to the construction of the ceiling /floors. It sounded like there was a matching band stomping around above us. This happened when guests were in the room above us or it was just being cleaned. Beds are not soft or comfortable. Toilet paper was like sand paper... Take your own! Breakfast is OK. Will not stay here again.
Room key didn't work. We went up and down the stairs three times to get assistance. Finally given a different room. My husband was in the pool by this time, which is where I was supposed to be also. He didn't realize there was a key issue again. Doors were wide open to both rooms as I moved our stuff after we had already settled into the first room. Doors open was a security issue. Second room had a used towel and no trash liner for one wastebasket. The toilet leaks and gurgles continually. A few moths in the room because of the door wide open at night when changing rooms. This morning we heard a guy complaining about the A/C not working in his room. We are not usually ones to complain; however, we recommend finding a different hotel. Breakfast was pretty nice and decent but doesn't make up for the rest.
We arrived at around 10:30 pm and we're immediately greeted by Ryle the night clerk. She was very friendly and did a great job of explaining the options and pricing available to us. The motel was easy to find and the rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The free breakfast had a lot of options and tasted great. The visit greatly exceeded our expectations.
We came down here to stay for the Shakespeare Festival, but when we got there we noted it was an older smaller hotel & there were no electrical outlets by the beds to plug in anything, which I had to have 1 medically necessary piece of equipment plugged in there or couldn't sleep without it. So they had to get a power strip which left cords all over the floor, which was a slip and fall hazard on top of it. It was also not as clean as it should have been. We had reserved three nights but only stayed one due to this, and were not even offered a discount or an apology.
