Quiet place off of main street and not far from main highway, but more towards the downtown area of Cedar City. Big property and well run. Room was super cheap (80), but the beds were the most comfortable we experienced our entire trip and the pillows were also very comfortable. We were able to park right outside our room for quick and easy loading and unloading. Air conditioning worked great. The free breakfast started very early, 6am or 6:30, which made it nice since we wanted to get back on the road fast the next morning. NIce pool and hot tub outside. Will stay here again.
El Rey Inn & Suites in Cedar City, UT is a fairly cheap hotel that still provides quality amenities. The rooms are small but still have a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The beds are adequate and have fluffy pillows. The complementary breakfast is hot and fairly tasty for what you get. Service is wonderful and goes above and beyond for the guests.
I keep reading reviews that say these rooms are small and i find it confusing because i think they have plenty of room. Maybe that's because I'm usually traveling on the cheap, camping etc... i wonder what people are used to when they say these are small rooms...i wonder what larger rooms look like

We stay here regularly every October for the Fall Shakespeare Festival. This place is really close, if not the closest hotel to the Shakespeare Center for walking distance. It's also close to downtown shops on Main Street. We like to get the room with a fridge and microwave in it so we can prepare our own meals while there. It's always clean and the continental breakfast is great. The staff is friendly and always helpful.
Updated room, Family suite had beds for all 6 of us. Walk in price was a fantastic value. Nice comp breakfast and clean, nice lobby/eating area/suite. We will stay here again.
Best place in town.
