I am having my wisdom teeth out but because I had to fast the oral surgeon couldn't find a vain so I was told to contact a doctor to get approval for a very temporary pick line.

What kind of doctors just refuse to help even if all they can do is give a phone number to someone who can help?
I've moved around a bit and had to switch doctors a bunch of times because of that and I have never been treated so poorly.
When I called and explained I was new to cedar city and I was both looking for a gp and what I needed for my teeth the lady was very helpful and consalted someone a few time to make sure they could help me and then she scheduled me to see Julie to have it done. When I called back with my new appointment time with the oral surgeon I was told that they couldn't help me and no doctor would see me or order a pickline and no one would give me any idea about who could help me or what I could do or if there were any better options. They refused to be helpful in any way.
