I've been going to Groovacious regularly since 2005, and during college, I went at least once a week, even if I wasn't buying anything. Tim and Lisa Cretsinger were an important part of my 20s, and I always look forward to visiting. Their second location may not feel as nostalgic, but Lisa has done an excellent job keeping the store alive and in the same spirit after Tim's passing.
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. It's rare to find a record store of this quality in a bigger city, let alone in a place like Cedar City, Utah, Prices were reasonable and the owner knew her stuff. Ad someone who used to work in the record business, I'll say that if I owned a store, I would want it to be like this.
So amazing. The owner is one of the coolest and kindest people you'll ever meet.
This place offers a lot for being a small shop! Records and CD's, as well as band shirts, though the selection of shirts could be wider (only one rack). The owner operates the place with a lot of heart, and it's worth the visit. It's not quite ZIA records level, but great for a small town.
You must stop here! The music selection is top notch! Just a cool, funky, awesome place to browse and buy music.
