Love this vet. He is very knowledgeable and very good with his patients. He makes time in his schedule to see you in an emergency. He never rushes through an appointment and answers all of your questions.

Dr. Thinnes has been amazing to me and my dog. He really acts like he cares. Thank you

I was quoted a cost to have my dog fixed. I was hit with 100 dollars in hidden fees for pain medications that I assumed would be included. Make sure you get full disclosure of the cost before leaving your loved one at this facility.

I have never had a bad experience here. I am willing to pay a bit extra for the quality of care I have received here. I have seen other vets in town and unless my animal is on the brink of death, I will NOT take them back to the other doctors I tried.

Dr Thinnes allows time for every visit. He does not rush you through. He performs a thorough exam every time. He is direct and honest, allows you to ask questions, and makes sure you understand the answers. My animals have never shown fear walking into the clinic, they have had no reason to. The staff and doctor are friendly every time. If you are looking for quality of care and a knowledgeable doctor, this is the place to go.

Good staff. Always helpful and courteous. I have gotten in on a moments notice. If there is an emergency, I take my dogs or cats down to St. George 24 hour clinic. IOW, if it is an EMERGENCY there is another option. Dr. T has always been spot on with us, and the staff has been very caring and thoughtful. His surgical work is above par, as is his diagnosis. If I'm not mistaken, he works on large animals as well. My money always works. There are other places around So. Utah that can help when cash is low. I read another womans post about having Epilepsy. This is for her, you should try not to let your disability interfear with the care or well being of your pets OR children. Please do not over-burdon yourself with too many pets. Do try to find them good caring homes. And yes--it does seem that there is a comlete lack of understanding about domestic pets in the Cedar City Area. Try not to take those feelings out on your Veternarian or his/her staff. Again, good staff, great surgon, excellent DVM.
