Recently, I called Sherrie Hanson's office to suspend the automatic withdrawal of my car insurance payment. I was told that the automatic withdrawal would not start again until I called and authorized it. However, the payment was taken out of my account anyways, causing multiple overdraft fees to my bank account. 6 overdraft fees of $35 dollars each, to the tune of $210. I called Sherrie and provided proof of the error, and after several days of having a negative balance, Sherrie finally returned my call and told me she would reverse $185 dollars of the amount. When I asked about the 6th fee, Sherrie told me that my bank had refunded it, which goes toward my credit of refunds, and as such, "I am not going to refund anymore money, I can't believe the accounting dept actually approved this, and I'm not going to argue with you. If you don't like it, take your business else where." My parents and I have been customers of hers for over 10 years, 3 cars, 2 homes, and 1 motorcycle insurance. Not once was I EVER rude or impolite, and when I told her my bank was suggesting I file bank fraud, she hung up the phone. I wasn't able to pay my rent.. or my credit card payment, which caused more fees on both ends. I had no money for food, gas, or daily necessitates. Sherrie not even once apologized for what had happened. . . Wether I deserve the money back is your opinion, but throughout the entire time, I never did anything wrong to that woman. She was unkind and thoughtless... I was shocked at the way she treated me and disappointed.I mean, nobody wants to be treated bad. . . you know? So before you choose her, just remember that it's her at the end of the day she cares about and with an attitude like that? I'll find a new insurance carrier. If she is so non nonchalant about losing a long time customer and being downright awful, than I think I will take my business elsewhere. For the simple reason that, I don't like to be treated as such.
Sherrie, Stacie and the entire staff are always helpful and courteous. Sherrie has personally driven to my business, a 60 mile round trip, to obtain VIN and serial numbers that my husband and I had been too busy to get to to her due to the hectic schedule of our summer business season. We have been customers for over 10 years and we wouldn't consider using another agency even though we are constantly solicited. As customers, we can be a little high maintenance, however, Sherrie and her staff have bent over backwards to hold our hands and get us what we need whenever we have a request.
I've had nothing but bad experiences with this business. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Used her for years and Sherrie has always been really good. She has the best rates for Auto insurance and I've used her for my house as well.
So disappointing. I would have been more satisfied paying the fees myself and receiving polite caring customer service informing me they couldn't help me any further.
