On several occasions I have tried to contact (phone) the front desk at this IHC InstaCare location to ask short/needed questions to alleviate driving down to the office, only to be placed on hold (indefinitely). On all occasions, I finally drove to the office (still on hold, on my cell phone) only to be told by the front desk staff "as you can see, I'm very busy here". This afternoon, I went in seeking treatment for a workplace injury, and was told by this same front desk staff "you're supposed to go to WorkMed (next door) for workplace injuries, but since it's closed we can see you here". She asked when the accident occurred, to which I responded "Tuesday". She then rolled her eyes, and stated "since you waited this long, you can wait until morning and go next door to WorkMed". It seems this is the atmosphere of professionalism and level of customer service that exists here at this facility, though I have experienced excellent customer care at other IHC InstaCare facilities across the state of Utah.
Can not believe your hours. Are you kidding me. After hours care. Not even close. Try to come and have my child check and have to go to the ER because you aren't even open! I can not believe you think you are servicing our community!
This place is a big joke. They always make you feel like your delusional and never actually tell you what's going on because the doc spends with you 10 mins to tell you stuff you already know and no valuable solution. Your better off googling home remedies at least they might work and are for free.
They were able to get me in really fast. Very professional
This was my first visit and noticed the place is a disgrace. The toilet was broken, there is a general lack of cleanliness in the rooms and also with the Dr. & employee's scrubs which badly needed washed and disinfected. I noticed that most everyone looked depressed including the patients who were going out the door. The Dr. spent more time trying to fix his computer than he did with trying to help my illness. It took an hour for me to get in and to my surprise the Dr. had already made his decision about my condition prior to examination. For $75 I got a two page generic printout which one can get for free at any hospital. This printout was quite insulting because it explained that people use way too much medicine even when they feel sick. My suggestion is that if you really need a Doctor then skip this place. You can easily get 3 visits with a real Doctor for the price of one at InstaCare, and you can get it done quicker with real results. I honestly feel IHC could better spend their resources and promote their image in a more positive way.
