Good place to stay when visiting the Arches or Canyonlands National Parks. The streets were a little dusty because they weren't paved. The park has a 5 mph speed limit but very few obey. Friendly staff and well stocked store.
It is really nice and attractions are near by. One such attraction is the Frontier Museum. It is really nice and there are fast food restaurants and stores close by as well too. Also there are other attractions near by and the staff here is really nice and helpful
Needed a place to stay that accepted dogs. We normally use koa in our RV, but this trip I wasn't gonna take the RV. So glad I stopped here because hotels are difficult with pets. Bring your own bedding and stay in a cabin. It's cheaper and way cleaner than a hotel. The bathroom was the nicest one I've ever seen at any campground.
As a KOA goes, this is definitely one of the better ones. Relatively large parking spaces with at least some grass between rigs. Level lots. Ours was actually concrete and well maintained. Like all ' RV Parks', the spaces are designed as parking spaces with utilities. Central location to many popular hiking/site seeing locations like Kolob Canyon, Cedar Breaks, Brian Head. Town has good restaurants and services. Town actually has a nice paved bike path and parks for kids and adults to play.
The campground was ok. Typical KOA. No complaints on the facility itself. I would have rated higher but the street entrance and exit to this place are the WORST I've ever experienced. Be prepared for you and everything in your camper to go flying as you completely bottom out. Unless this is fixed, I won't be back.
