By far the best restaurant in Cedar City. Don't listen to these other redneck reviews; go back to Denny's.
Impeccable service and a great steak. Highly recommended! Needs a liquor license though.
Sadly the NEW Depot Grill pales in comparison to the previous owner. Service was VERY slow - the restaurant was not busy -- few check backs by waiter - had to flag down the table setter for more water - surprised that a steak dinner was not accompanied by a dinner salad. When our food arrived the waiter switched our meals between the two of us, the rice on the seafood special which was served on a bed of rice was crunchy(under cooked) my husband ate it anyhow because he was hungry and we did not have another 45+ min to wait for food. His food was hot - my Ribeye was just over room temperature when served to me - requested medium(correct), flavor was okay, potatoes were kind of dry. The bread was good. Quality and service was not there for us at this price point.
Absolutely fantastic. Having lived in Cedar City for about a year, I've grown tired of the same terrible service and deep fried garbage that every other restaurant serves. Depot Grill is an absolute godsend in comparison.
I can't speak highly enough of Depot Grill. 6 out of 5 stars, all day.
For the hour that we spent at Depot Grill, I felt as though I'd been transported to another time and place - far away from the dark cloud that is Cedar City. The service was wonderful. The staff treated us like we mattered to them, regardless of wether we were the wealthiest folks in Iron County or regular street bums.
Service was great. My steak was great. Wife's steak was under cooked.
