I love this park...there's actually two parks on each side of the river along the walking trail. During the summer, all the kids come in their swimsuits and play in Coal Creek. It's a fun, cheap way to spend the afternoon with your kid.
Usually not too busy. Great place for a quiet picnic. Lovely stream running through the park. BBQ grills, a playground, pavilion, volleyball pit, and lovely trees are just a few features.
Love it here the creek is fun. The grass is perfect. Parking is hard sometimes
This park is a family favorite. There is a lot of trees for shade, a creek for cooling off in the heat, and a fun play ground for the kids. There is also a pavilion you can rent for a day for a small fee. You pay the fee at the city aquatic center. There is also a few small outdoor grills in areas around the park.
This is one of our favorite places to go and picnic. There is a trail that goes up the canyon and a great little pavillion.
