A little quirky place. If you enjoy history or if u just need to stop and stretch your feet
I grew up on the street depicted in the train set model. I was mesmerized by this model. It is very accurate. I remember when they were starting to build the museum they rode down our street in the stage coaches and gave my brothers and I a ride in the coach. Coll experience but my parents didn't know where we were and were a little concerned. Great Museum.
What an incredible museum! Phone number for self-guided tours, original buildings you can enter, and endless interactive activities for the kids. If you have kids interested in all the activities, you could spend a day here. I'll definitely be back.
Great little museum! Lots of interactive activities for little ones. We really enjoyed it.
I used to go to the Frontier Homestead State Park with my Grandad. I remember getting a wooden nickel. I recently returned- all the same vintage wagons, barbed wire and print shop, ...but so much more outside! A great place for kids and plenty of shade and inside activities if it's to hot or too cold outside.
