Cafe Rio as always was delicious. I enjoyed the sweet pork barbacoa burrito, my go to favorite at this Mexican grill franchise. The staff were friendly at this establishment, though it's like most fast food restaurants were you will not be served at your table. It can be a quick bite, as long as the lines aren't out through the door. The food is quickly prepared right before you and ready to eat when it reaches your hand. I love frequenting the place whenever I get the chance because it is not available in my home state.
Be aware, guacamole and sour cream cost extra. Good drink options. Typically a very long wait at this particular restaurant. Seems far too pricey for this type of food.
The food is great, but if you drive thru it is usually wrong. It is also always a major wait, even if they aren't busy! We love Cafe Rio, and in southern Utah this is the best location. Never had an issue going inside. The line moves quickly!
Ran out of guac and some meats on a Friday night during a well known school break. Student workers running the place with their drinks everywhere while on their phones and not using gloves. Adult male workers clearly not acting like they're in charge. Dirty floors with trash everywhere. Need more dressing because they were skimpy? Plan to pay a $1 for a small cup. Not impressed at all.
Decent food. Not my favorite, but I'm not a chain restaurant guy.
We stopped on our way home from St George. The food was good as usual but the floor was really sticky and we had to clean our own tables. Makes us not want to go back. A place can have great, amazing food but if it's dirty that's a major black mark to me. One more thing was that the forks needed to be stocked. I let a girl know but it was taking too long so I helped myself to the open box of forks on the counter. I hope this was just a bad night because we stop here all the time on our road trips.
